1. Question: What are the beginning stages of basement planning?
Answer: The key foundation to building your dream basement is brainstorming. Once we go over
what your looking for, we can come up with detailed drawings according to your specific needs.
2. Question: Who applies for the permits?
Answer: Our company will head down to your municipality and obtain all necessary permiting.
One thing you never want to do is have ANY OTHER COMPANY tell you to pull permits
yourself! This is a BIG NO NO. First of all, its illegal and you can get fined thousands of dollars if Caught and also this is a RED FLAG if a company is telling you to. WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE HIDING!
3. Question: Do we have to clean out the basement before you begin?
Answer: We do ask that you remove your sentimental and personal items. We understand that
bigger items that wont fit back upstairs have to stay put. We will tarp and wrap them
during your project.
4. Question: Is your working crew clean and professional?
Answer: Unlike many other's, we lay tarps on the floors while going into your home. When we
know that we will be creating dust, tarps will be hung in the doorways and entrances to
stop the spread. If you tend to have any questions, our knowledgable staff will be more
than happy to answer. Everyone asks questions, we EXPECT them!
5. Question: If we happen to make a change, is that a problem?
Answer: In construction there are always changes. People change their minds all the time and
that is perfectly fine. Just bring it to our attention your thoughts and we'll accomodate
your changes accordingly.
6. Question: Who will schedule the permit inspections?
Answer: Once we are ready for the rough and final inspections, we will call your local township
and schedule all necessary inspections. We are also there on site to meet with the inspectors
to make sure that everything runs smoothly! LESS HEADACHES FOR YOU!
